Creative Prompt #3

Today's Creative Prompt is an ad for beads out of the November, 2007 issue of Domino magazine. At first glance, it is a very simple magazine, but there are some really cool details that could really inspire you to get creative. *Be sure to click on the photo so that you can see the background details behind the beads.*

Creative Prompt #2...

Today's creative prompt is simply a new color scheme. This color combo was inspired by a card that Christine Ousley posted on her blog. I really like it because the colors are rich enough to work for fall projects, but put all together, they make for a really cheery color grouping.

Creative Prompt #1...

This is an ad for Robert Kaufman Fabrics taken out of the Oct/Nov 2007 issue of Home Companion.

Welcome!

I have been playing with this idea for a while and have finally decided to do this. Welcome to my blog just featuring creative prompts. Any of you that know me, know that I love these and have always posted them on my personal blog, but they were getting lost in between my own personal art and photos.

So this blog is born! I will post a new creative prompt every Monday and Thursday and once a week (probably on Monday's) I will post a list of the blogs that feature artwork using one of the prompts as inspiration.

It's as easy as that. We will see how that goes and maybe expand the program a bit more as we go... :)

I hope that you will play along and be inspired to CREATE!
